Landlords, letting agents and tenants are being urged to prepare for major changes to the private rented sector as the first phase of the Renters’ Rights Act comes into effect on 1 May 2026.

Owners of vacant properties are being urged to make the most of assistance available to them through North Devon Council as it supports National Empty Homes Week (9-15 March).
