Applications open as FOODfest returns to Barnstaple this October

North Devon Foodfest

North Devon’s popular food and drink showcase, FOODfest, is set to make its return this autumn, taking place on Sunday 18 October 2026 at Barnstaple Pannier Market. Marking its seventh year, the festival will once again shine a spotlight on the area’s rich and growing culinary scene, bringing together local chefs, independent restaurants, street food creators and artisan producers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy a broad spectrum of flavours, ranging from well-loved regional dishes to innovative street food concepts. Alongside the food offering, there will also be a strong presence of locally crafted drinks, including ales, ciders, wines and spirits produced across the region.

Hannah Harrington, Place Manager, said: “We’re thrilled to see FOODfest return for another year. It’s a real highlight in the calendar, bringing together so many talented local businesses in one place. The event provides a brilliant opportunity for traders to showcase what they do best while welcoming visitors from across the area."

Trader applications are now being accepted via North Devon Council’s website and will remain open until 18 September. Demand for stalls is expected to be high, and early submission is encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Further details on confirmed traders, menus and entertainment will be released in the lead-up to the event via FOODfest’s official social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
