Families are invited to step into a world of spooky fun this Halloween as Yeo Valley Woodland hosts its spooktacular family fun event on Sunday, 26 October, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Expect an afternoon packed with seasonal activities and fright-filled entertainment for all ages, including pumpkin carving, creepy crafts, warming refreshments, and a delicious BBQ.
Everyone is encouraged to wear their most frightful Halloween costumes for the fancy dress competition, with fang-tastic prizes to be won.
There will also be an opportunity to get creative with pumpkin carving. Pumpkins will be available for £2.50, with all proceeds going towards the Children’s Summer Club and the Friends of Yeo Valley Community Woodland, helping to support future activities and community projects.
Councillor Ricky Knight, Lead Member for Climate and Biodiversity, said: “Join us at the award-winning Yeo Valley Woodland this Halloween for a magical mix of spooky fun and community spirit. There’s no need to book - just come along, bring your friends and family, and make it a Halloween to remember!”
Yeo Valley Woodland, proudly holding a Green Flag award, is located off Silverwood Heights, Barnstaple. Please note there is no parking available at the woodland, visitors are asked to park on Derby Road and use the entrance just past Kingdom Hall.
