Join us as we mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a weekend packed full of remembrance, history, and celebration for all ages. 

VE80 Cinematic Tribute | 8–10 May

This brand new film has been created by Chris Horrell to remind us of the events of World War 2 and commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
Step into the past with our specially curated 30-minute film showcasing key moments from 1939–1945 — from Dunkirk and D-Day to victory celebrations here in Devon. VE80 Festival Day | Sunday 11 May | 11am–6pm 

Don't miss a fantastic day of live music, a giant street party, static and living history displays, vintage vehicles, food vendors, and more – all in the heart of Barnstaple! Everyone is welcome – entry is free. 

VE80 Exhibitions

While you're in town, enjoy a range of exhibitions: 

- Queen Anne’s Café will be hosting a Cream Tea Day and live music on Saturday 10 May. 

- The Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon will feature a special WWII exhibition from 8–10 May.
