194 requests for information were received between 1 January and 31 March 2021. Of those requests:
- 160 requests were answered within the statutory time limit of 20 working days
- 30 requests where the information requested was not held
- 1 request responded to under day to day business
- 115 requests were granted in full (no exemption or exception was applied)
- 18 Permitted extensions to the statutory time limit
- 3 requests required clarification/further information from the applicants, 2 of which no response was received, therefore the requests were closed and no further action taken
- 45 requests were received, and then, upon further research, transferred/referred (some in part) to other local authorities/external organisations
- 22 requests were partially withheld/refused (some of the information was subject to an exemption or exception)
- 12 requests were fully withheld/refused (all of the requested information was subject to exemption or exception)
- 60 requests were responded to in full or part in accordance with the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR)
During this quarter, the average number of days that it took to respond to a request was 19 working days
