184 requests for information were received between 1 April and 30 June 2023. Of those requests:
- 165 requests were answered within the statutory time limit of 20 working days
- 127 requests were granted in full (no exemption or exception was applied)
- 11 requests required clarification/further information from the applicants, of which 5 no responses was received, therefore the requests were closed and no further action taken
- 22 requests where all of the requested information was not held by the Council
- 1 request was submitted and then later withdrawn by the applicant
- 1 internal review was requested
- 2 requests was responded to late (officer error)
- 64 requests were received, and then, upon further research, transferred/referred (some in part) to other local authorities/external organisations
- 23 requests were partially withheld/refused (some of the information was subject to an exemption or exception)
- 5 requests were fully withheld/refused (all of the requested information was subject to exemption or exception)
- 57 requests were responded to in full or part in accordance with the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR)
During this quarter, the average number of days that it took to respond to a request was 9.2 working days
