The price of heating oil has been particularly impacted by the conflict in the Middle East and is currently around double the price of crude oil.

To help, the Government has announced over £50 million of funding to support low-income households in rural communities. This will be distributed through the new Crisis and Resilience Fund, which comes into effect from April, replacing the current Household Support Fund. As part of this fund, an oil fuel support scheme will launch in April. Full details will be available on our website in the coming weeks.

Household Support Fund - The current Household Support Fund continues to operate until 31 March. If you’re vulnerable or struggling with essential costs, you may still be able to access support.
