16 May	Rose Ash bunting making night	Rose Ash Village Hall	Rose Ash village are having a bunting making night 16 May from 7.30pm in the village hall for preparation and a tree planting in the autumn with our harvest celebrations.
24 May - 6 June	Exhibit of royal memorabilia	Barnstaple Library	Exhibit of royal memorabilia on loan from North Devon collector Sarah Grant. A curated collection of over 200 items will be displayed on the top floor of Barnstaple library at selected times from 24 May - 6 June. The exhibition will be complimented by displays from Local Studies Centre which includes the North Devon Athenaeum and the North Devon Records Office. An original oil painting of the Queen by local artist Sarah Flannery will also be exhibited with prints available to purchase. Tickets for entry to the exhibition are £6 per person and can be purchased at the library or from Eventbrite (booking fee applies for Eventbrite bookings).
2 June	Grosvenor Church, Barnstaple	Jubilee Family Holiday Club Day	£5 per child / doors open at 9.45am. 10am - 12.25pm Holiday club for R - Yr6 children. Pop-up café for family and siblings who want to stay around, including access to Noah's Ark - pay on the day. 12.30pm 'Street party' family lunch £2 per perhon. 1pm - 3pm Family activities around the church - bouncy castle, face paints, Jubilee crafts, quizzes and games. Limited numbers so please book now.
2 - 5 June	South Molton Platinum Jubilee Events		2 June Jubilee Market 8am to 1.30pm with big screen to show Trooping the Colour South Molton Rotary Club Afternoon Tea Dance with cream tea, in the new Assembly Rooms from 2pm 3 June Arts Destination South Molton heritage crafts day in the Pannier Market, 11am to 5pm with new community charter song and royal lime tree planters dance in the square approx. midday Live music with bar and street food from 4pm. Performances from Backtrax and vintage trio The Hummingbirds 4 June Jubilee market 8am to 1.30pm with more than 70 stalls South Molton Library - Birds of prey from 10am to midday, food and drink, raffle, shove ha'penny, lucky dip, colouring competition, guess the number of sweets and book sale 5 June Royal British Legion Jubilee Parade at 10.30am, from the Pannier Market to Mary Magdalene Church

2 June	Rose Ash bring and share tea	Rose Ash Village Hall	Rose Ash village will do a bring and share tea with keepsake presentation for the children of the parish and a celebration cake to be cut! A licenced bar to be followed by a beacon lighting when its dark enough! Hopefully a good village social! On the village green / village hall.
2 June	Martinhoe Parish lighting of the beacon	Beacon Castle, Killington, Martinhoe	Lighting of the beacon. To be lit at 9.45pm Bring own chairs/refreshments. Arrive earlier. Parking on site.
2 June	Brayford lighting of the beacon	Bray Common near Kedworthy Farm	Meet at Bray Common from 9pm for beacon lighting at 9.45pm.

3 June	Knowle Jubilee Street Party	Knowle Park, The Ebrington Arms and along the road adjoining	From 14.00 there will be: Music from local musicians and bands (and all the eager open mic-ers, both children and grown-ups) Food - cakes and sandwiches galore Games and activities - such as stocks, wellie-wanging, face painting, arts and crafts Competitions - including design and parade a crown suitable for the Queen of Knowle and England
3 June	Braunton Annual Village Fair - The Rotary Clubs of Braunton and Braunton Caen	Braunton Recreation ground	Returning after 2 years, from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. Free entry.
3 June	Brayford Jubilee Duck Race	Joyce's Field, Brayford Bridge	Brayford Dog Show takes place from 1pm at the Methodist Church car park. At the Duck Race you'll enjoy live music, traditional fete games, tea and cake stalls, plant sales, a BBQ and a kids pirate ship race. Wear your crowns, tiaras and red, white and blue for this fantastically fun jubilee theme Duck Race. 3 June	Brayford band and hog roast	Bayford Village Hall	Jamie's Band 'SoulCraft' and Russell's tasty hog roast. £8 advance or £10 on the door. Open at all. Takes place at Brayford Village Hall from 7.30pm, hog roast from 8pm and SoulCraft from 8.30pm. Invite your friends to Brayford Village Hall for a good night out which includes a succulent hog roast bun with all the trimmings! Bar is open, dance floor is lit. 3 June	Marwood Jubilee Celebrations	The Old Rectory, Marwood	From 4.00 to 9.00 pm - bring and share picnic, pop up pub and music. Free entry.
3 June - 4 June	Woolacombe Festivities	Woolacombe Meadow	Woolacombe and Mortehoe residents are planning a walking procession of all residents in jubilee themed fancy dress, live music, craft stalls, dog show, bouncy castles, skateboard competition, face painting, toddlers playgroup fun, a bar, food stalls, football fun, mass Zumba session, yoga and pilates workshops, kids arts area, and a 3 channel silent disco on both nights. All events start at midday until late with free entry.
5 June	Let's Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee	Outside The Long House, Marwood	14.00 to 17.00 - please bring either a sweet or savoury plate of food and wear something including red, white or blue. If you have friends or family staying everyone is welcome.
5 June	The Queen's Picnic in the Park - The Rotary Clubs of Braunton and Braunton Caen	Braunton Recreation ground	12 noon to 6pm. Bring your picnic and have fun with your family, friends and neighbours. Open Mic Stage. Music all day. Free Entry. Tea and coffee tent will be run by the Rotary. 5 June	Brayford Jubilee Lunch	TBC	Open to and free for parish residents. Tables must be booked in advance. A superb afternoon for the Parish villages to get together in celebration. Guests are invited to wear something red, white or blue. From 11.45am Open for early arrivals 12pm Seating of guests 12.30pm National anthem and jubilee lunch family fun and entertainment follow lunch.
