The team at North Devon Leisure Centre are holding an open afternoon on Saturday 7 March with a wide range of free and fun activities on offer for all ages to enjoy.

Easy divers, roma sports, fencing, mini tennis, surf life saving and born to skate are just some of the free activities on offer.

There will be prizes to win on the day and great membership discounts. The fitness and health suite and swimming pool will be open with lots of activities led by instructors. The pool will even be turning pink at some point in the day.

Other activities include:

  • group exercise classes, including the brand new FloatFit class, the only one in North Devon
  • a Nerf war on the squash courts for little and big kids
  • face painting
  • bouncy castle

Leader of North Devon Council, Councillor David Worden, says: "The team at North Devon Leisure Centre have put together a fantastic schedule of free family friendly events. It is a great opportunity to bring family and friends along and get a taste of what the leisure centre has to offer. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, no matter your age or fitness level."
