Customer Service Advisors at North Devon Council are getting ready to open the office doors to the public again following a short Covid-related closure, bringing with it new service changes in South Molton.

From Monday (2 November), Customer Service Advisors will be available again at Lynton House, Barnstaple and The Ilfracombe Centre on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am - 1pm to deal with face-to-face customer queries  while complying with social distancing rules. 

New opening hours are also being introduced for face-to-face customer queries with North Devon Council at the Amory Centre, South Molton. North Devon Council Customer Service Advisors will be at the Amory Centre on Tuesday and Thursday, 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm and Friday 9am - midday and 1pm - 3pm.

Leader of North Devon Council, Councillor David Worden, says: "I'm really pleased that we're able to reopen our offices to our customers following this short closure whilst we had Covid-related staff shortages.  I would like to thank our customers for their understanding while the offices were closed, your support is appreciated."

Following the reopening of the offices, customers are advised to continue to visit the North Devon Council website first to find answers to their queries and to contact the council online where possible - it's quicker and cheaper online, and available 24/7.

If visiting offices customers are reminded to wear a face covering, follow social distancing rules in place and make use of hand sanitiser that is available.
