A change is being introduced to Customer Services provided by North Devon Council at the Amory Centre in South Molton.

From the week commencing Monday 2 November, advisors will be there on a Friday instead of a Monday. This means they will now be at the Amory Centre on a Tuesday and Thursday 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm as usual and Fridays 9am - midday and 1 - 3pm.

The building is currently closed due to staff shortages but is due to re-open on 2 November.

Outside of these hours, access to the council’s services is available on their website northdevon.gov.uk. The majority of council business and transactions can be carried out online.

Leader of North Devon Council, Councillor David Worden, says: "We’re hoping that this change of days won’t inconvenience our customers too much and that they’ll soon get used to the new pattern. We’re still there three days a week but we’ve just had to change the days to help us run a more efficient service across the board."

During the current coronavirus pandemic customers are advised to continue to visit the North Devon Council website first to carry out their transaction - it's quicker and cheaper online, and available 24/7.

If visiting offices customers are reminded to wear a face covering, follow social distancing rules in place and make use of hand sanitiser that is available.
