That bit at the end….

Plastic Free North Devon are pleased to announce their Sustainable Housekeeping toolkit as part of their visitor campaign for 2022.

With funding from the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty they have expanded their offering for the campaign to provide a toolkit for cleaners, property managers and hospitality businesses to help adopt greener cleaning methods and sustainable behaviours.

Drawing on the expertise of local green entrepreneur Holly from Croyde Concierge, they ran a collaborative workshop at the start of this summer season with local cleaners, housekeepers and property managers. From this we developed the toolkit which they hope will inspire changes to housekeeping practices.

From reducing the amount of chemicals used in cleaning products which can leach into our waterways to highlighting local producers to reduce carbon emissions  - it all helps to reduce the pressure on our environment which is under threat from all sorts of interlinking factors.

The toolkit is available to download from the Plastic Free North Devon website.
