The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) can help residents manage sudden or unexpected expenses or a loss of income. It has replaced the Household Support Fund, which ended on 31 March 2026. However, it is not a like-for-like replacement, as the CRF is specifically focused on crisis support and prevention.

Better Off Calculator

The Better Off Calculator is suitable for most people permanently living in the UK. It is not meant for people in hospital, residential care, on strike or in prison.
Calculations should be treated as a helpful estimate, as it will only be as accurate as the information entered.
