The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) has replaced the Household Support Fund
The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) will help residents manage sudden or unexpected expenses or a loss of income and has replaced the Household Support Fund, which ended on 31 March 2026. It is not a like‑for‑like replacement as CRF is specifically focused on crisis support and prevention.
Crisis Payment applications will be available from 20 April 2026, while other parts of the scheme will come online shortly after.
