FreeHelp Combe Martin

Free Help Combe Martin is a group of village volunteers happy to help out where they can, we can provide a vital link to the community at times of need including being snowed in, flooding and the current Coronavirus with the need for self-isolation.

They can offer:

food shopping collection and drop off
post office - post your letters and parcels
prescriptions - delivery to your home
dog walking - if you have no garden or outside space
social phone/video call, texts or messenger chats to combat loneliness

They are also setting up a Food Bank in a central village location, referral via the Parish Council for those in need, unable to access food supplies or on a low income. Your allocated volunteer will access the Food Bank on your behalf. All referrals are confidential.

We are working with the Parish Council who will be your first point of contact should you require non-medical assistance. You can reach the Parish council seven days a week from 10am - 5pm on 01271 883403, this phone service is in addition to the usual Parish Council office opening hours.

If you are able to volunteer a few hours here and there then please join the group on Facebook, Freehelp Combe Martin. They'll require your name, contact number and days of availability.
