Business support from North Devon Plus
North Devon+ is part of a new programme to assist businesses during the recovery from the pandemic. The programme will enable business owners to discuss their current business situation with an independent and impartial adviser. Some of the key areas a business owner could be working on during this period may include market research, competition analysis, how to keep your current customers, diversification, online trading, upskilling, training opportunities, cash flows, financing or refinancing, government grants and loans availability.
If you are interested in a free 1-2-1 with an adviser, you can register your interest online.
You can speak to a member of the North Devon+ team on 01237 428834 or by emailing email@example.com
Currently ND+ has a Business Support Programme focussing on COVID-19, to review what challenges your business currently faces and looking at ways of managing your cashflow. They can also look at what you can do in the future to build up your business once out of lockdown. They have also created a useful flowchart which can be used to ensure you or your business does not miss out on any Government grants that are currently available.
Digital Boost - free digital advice for small businesses and charities impacted by coronavirus
Digital Boost was launched this week – a free-to-use platform that matches digital experts for free with micro and SME businesses and charities experiencing difficulties during the current climate in need of specific digital support.
The request for help could be anything from bespoke support in how to use understand Google Analytics, creating a logo for a new service launching or developing online content.
The support is delivered through matching the business with an expert for a boost call and/ or matching you with a workshop and /or signposting to online self-help resources.

Better Business For All Toolkit
Better Business For All (BBFA) is a partnership of Devon and Somerset’s local authorities, business groups, regulators and trading standards services, and they have created a resource providing guidance and advice to businesses.
It follows the Government’s announcement that from 15 June ‘non-essential’ businesses can reopen.
The toolkit provides information and links to help businesses understand what their regulatory and legal responsibilities are and what they have to do to restart their business safely.
It provides useful documents including a risk assessment template, action plan, business checklists and safety guides.
It will answer questions ranging from ‘Can I open?’ right through to how to reopen safely, travel advice for employees and visitors, and guidance on personal protective equipment and hygiene.
Supply of PPE
A business to business portal has been set up by Applegate to match those wanting to provide PPE to those who may need it, such as those in the care sector and key workers. Access the business supply hub for PPE provision on their website.
