The Pannier Market's High Street location makes it an ideal venue for events.
When it isn't in use for its regular markets, the building hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the annual classic car show and North Devon FOODfest.

Free Christmas Bingo on 11 December
Time: 1:30pm start
Get into the festive spirit with a fun, friendly (and completely FREE!) afternoon of bingo. Prizes include meat hampers ready for the big day, plus prizes for a line, a full house, and the grand prize in the final flyer round! Arrive early to browse the market stalls – from festive gifts to local produce, there’s something for everyone before the numbers are called. Grab your dabbers and join us for some Christmas fun!

Join us for late night shopping on Thursday 11 and 18 December when the market will be open until 8pm! Enjoy a festive evening atmosphere, explore your favourite stalls, and discover unique gifts, local produce, and seasonal treats.

Christmas Jumper Day - come and join the fun!

Get into the festive spirit and join us on Thursday 11 December for Christmas Jumper Day! Our traders will be showing off their brilliant Christmas jumpers, and we’d love for you to wear your most outrageous festive jumper too!

Victorian Fayre & Dog Fayre on 14 December

North Devon Sinfonia returns to Barnstaple Pannier Market!
We’re delighted to announce that North Devon’s own 60-piece Sinfonia will once again be filling the Pannier Market with a feast of festive music at their annual Christmas concert.
This magical evening is always a highlight of the Christmas period – so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!
