North Devon Council owns and controls allotments at:

The Parks team aims to achieve an efficient service to provide allotment facilities on Council owned allotment sites, maximising available allotment plots and maintaining sites to a high standard both by direct control and via management by other agency bodies.

Barnstaple Town Council owns and control all other allotment sites within Barnstaple and can be contacted on 01271 373311.

The Ilfracombe Allotment Association controls our allotment sites within Ilfracombe. The Secretary Mike Creek can be contacted on 01271 866211.

We can also put you in touch with the local town and parish councils who may also run facilities that you can rent. You can find the location of all allotments through our "Find you nearest" tool.

Allotment associations

The South West Counties Allotment Association (SWCAA)external website provides advice and information on allotment and leisure gardening. Although based in the south west and a lot of the information is south west based, SWCAA aim to cover the whole of the UK and Wales to offer support to anyone who needs it.
