Ilfracombe Harbour welcomes visitors at all times of the year, and offers a number of facilities to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

- Fresh water and electricity consoles are located on the Cove on the south side of the harbour. If you require electric, cards are available for purchase from the Harbour Office, along with hoses, cables, and access keys for the water.
- The Harbour toilets and showers are available free of charge on the ground floor of the Yacht Club, along with laundry facilities which are available for a small charge. Access keys can be obtained from the Harbour Office and the Yacht Club.
- A daily weather forecast is posted outside the Harbour Office, along with the day's tide times.
- Fender boards are available from the Harbour Office for yachts with an alongside berth on the North and South walls.
- Marine diesel is available at the fuelling berth on the south wall of the harbour. Contact the Harbour Office if required.
- Battery charging and jump starting facilities available from the Harbour Office.
- Recycling facilities for glass, paper, cans and plastic bottles exist outside the Harbour Office, on Old Quay Head, and at the entrance to the beach.
- A slipway is located in the Inner Harbour opposite the Lifeboat station for the launching and recovery of vessels. PWC's are permitted to launch on showing proof of insurance cover. Launching permits are available for purchase from the Harbour Office.
A small short-term trailer park is located on the south side of the harbour for temporary storage for when vessels are at sea. - A number of companies operate in the local area to serve the needs of the yachtsman. These include marine mechanical and electrical engineers, boat transport, crane operators and yacht chandlers. These companies advertise in the Harbour Brochure which is available from the Harbour Office.

Surrounding the Harbour are shops, bars, B&B's and restaurants, with supermarkets, banks, bus station, petrol station, a theatre and cinema all within a short walk away.
