The Smart way to pay for your parking

logo - SmartCard logo

Have you ever parked in a pay and display car park only to realise you haven't got any change? Or you may not have the right money and end up putting too much in the machine and it doesn't give change?

These problems could become a thing of the past with a North Devon Council SmartCard.
What is a SmartCard

It's a credit card sized plastic card, which you charge up with money. Every time you park in a North Devon Council car park, you put the card in the SmartCard enabled machine and choose how long you want to stay. The machine deducts the payment from your card.

Which car parks can I use my SmartCard

You can use your SmartCard in all main NDC car parks. They will all have a sign displaying the SmartCard logo.
  • Barnstaple: Belle Meadow, Bear Street, Cattle Market, Commercial Road, Fairview, Queen Street multi-story, North Walk ( next to Police Station), Portland Buildings (behind the Health Centre), Queens Street, Rolle Quay, Seven Brethren, Tuly Street, Tarka Lorry Park (Seven Brethren)
  • South Molton: Cattle Market
  • Ilfracombe: Brookdale, Cove, Jubilee Gardens, Pier and WIlder Road
