Online Planning Service
The Online Planning Service
You can:
- search and view online register of applications received as valid commencing from 1 January 1987, providing basic details for cases lodged up to 16 April 1999 and full details for cases lodged after that date
- view digital copies of application drawings and documents accompanying planning applications for applications registered from 1 September 2005
- view details of current appeals lodged with the Planning Inspectorate
- submit comments online, in regard to individual applications
- view and track the progress of applications
- search and view applications that have been determined
- view digital copies of decision notices for applications determined from 1 September 2005
- view decision notice summary of conditions/reasons for applications registered and determined from 16 April 1999

Planning Committees
Copies of officer reports for applications reported to the Planning Committee are also available via the committee meetings page, normally five working days prior to the meeting. Minutes are normally made available up to five working days after the meeting.
County and national park planning applications
Please note that NDC are consultees only for Devon County Council and Exmoor National Park Authority planning applications. To view application details, drawings and associated documents, or to comment online, please go to their respective website planning pages:

Online Planning Application
You can submit and pay for applications online through the national Planning Portal (North Devon). Associated drawings/documents etc. can be attached to an online application.
Drawings can only be accepted in pdf format and the paper size must be specified, for example A3, A1.
