Playgrounds and adventure playgrounds
The Parks and Amenities Unit can advise you, your playgroup and your parish council on the technical details of playground design and layout.Play areas and the equipment provided in them are governed by detailed British Standard guidelines that ensure the safe condition and maintenance of the equipment and the surfacing under it. Insurance claims can be significant if accidents occur due to neglect and negligence.
