Funding

The Biodiversity Steering group does not have its own funds, however we can help groups to identify suitable funders and provide advice on how to make successful applications.

1. North Devon District Council subscribes to a database called Grantfinder, which contains details of hundreds of different funders and funding streams.

2. Groups looking for funding complete a Funding Search Request form and return it to North Devon District Council’s Funding Officer.

3. The computer searches for matches and produces a long list of potential funders.

4. The Funding Officer produces a shortlist of possible funders from the computer’s matches and sends the organisation information about the most likely funders.
