Refuse
If your property has storage space you should have a black and green wheelie bin, otherwise we will supply you with back bags to place kerbside on collection day.
Your black wheelie bin/bags should be used for your residual household waste that cannot be recycled.
Your green wheelie bin can be used for garden waste and cardboard.
If you use a wheelie bin we do not supply black bags, carrier bags can be used, or items can be wrapped in newspaper.
North Devon operate a fortnightly collection scheme. Your black bin/bag is collected one week, your green bin the following week.
If you are unsure of your collection day, use the link below to search for it.

Bank Holidays
The local landfill site used by North Devon Council is operated by Devon County Council. They close every bank holiday.
As a result all refuse and recycling collections take place a day late in a bank holiday week (apart from Easter).
