THE ROLE OF OFFICERS.

Officers in their role of advising & assisting elected members in their determination of planning applications will provide:

* impartial & professional advice
* consistency of interpretation of the planning policies
* complete written reports which will include:
       a clear & accurate analysis of the issues in the context of the    relevant development plan policies & all other material considerations
        the substance of the representations, objections, & views of all those who have been consulted
        a clear written recommendation of action & where that recommendation is contrary to the development plan, the material considerations which justify the departure
        all necessary information for the decision to be made
