Records Of Delegated Decisions

12.1Where the power to make a decision on a planning application is delegated to an officer he/she will make & place on the application file a written record containing all the information that would have been put before a committee of the Council to enable them to determine the matter. In particular the record will clearly show the reasons for the decision reached & the policies & other material considerations on which it was based.
