What is happening in Devon
In the aftermath of Exeter’s unsuccessful bid, the Boundary Committee is looking at local government across the county. The committee will be looking at a unitary solution for every part of the county, including North Devon.
This means that a new authority with new boundaries will deliver all local services in the area from April 2010.
