New or Variation Application?
- A premises applying for its first Licence will naturally need a new application for the initial Grant.
- An existing premises intending to change the details of their Licence should consider the following:
Changes to the existing Licence will usually require a variation application where the licence-holder intends to alter the licensable activity timings, opening hours or operating schedule conditions. A new plan is not required as part of the application;
Changes to the existing Licence will usually require a new application where the licence-holder intends to alter the licensable activities permitted or change the licensed area. A new plan is required as part of the application;
Some changes to the licensed area may be treated as a variation.
