1 October to 31 December 2010

94 requests for information under the Act were received between 1 October to 31 December 2010. Of those requests:

56 were granted in full
83 were answered within the 20 working day deadline
2 were not answered within the 20 working day deadline as a permitted extension to answer those requests was given
9 required clarification/further information from the applicant, 3 of which, no response was received from the applicants, therefore these requests were closed.
2 requests which were made/received under FOIA but were later identified as Subject Access Requests and forwarded to the Council's Data Protection Officer to respond direct.
4 requests were withdrawn.

13 were partially refused/withheld under the following exemptions:

1 under Section 12 of the Act
3 under Section 21 of the Act
7 under Section 40 of the Act
1 under Section 16 and under Section 21 of the Act
1 under Section 40 and Section 42 of the Act

12 were fully refused/withheld under the following exemptions:

3 under Section12 of the Act
5 under Section 21 of the Act
2 under Section 30 of the Act
1 under Section 40 of the Act
1 under Section 41 and of Section 42 of the Act
