The Freedom Of Information Act 2000 requires the Council to prepare a Publication Scheme which, in simple terms, is a catalogue of information held by the Council which is publicly available.

The Publication Scheme will allow any citizen to know what information is published by the Council and how to access it.

The Council has interpreted the Scheme as widely as possible to include printed material, information on the Council's website, reports and leaflets.

Copies of the Scheme may be obtained from the above named at the Civic Centre, Barnstaple between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, free of charge, or on the Council's website www.northdevon.gov.uk
