The Ilfracombe Centre



The Ilfracombe Centre offers expanded services and facilities from North Devon Council and other agencies. The centre provides advice, contacts and surgeries in various areas such as planning, housing and council tax.

We also provide a liaison point for North Devon Homes

Customers can make council tax payments here by cheque or card, we cannot to accept cash. Alternatively, call our automated payment line on 01271 329539 or you can make an online payment.

Please note that there is no access to public parking at the centre. Nearby public parking is available at Wilder Road car park (short stay) and at Brookdale car park (long stay).

However you choose to contact us, interpretation or alternative formats are available at your request.

In addition, our Environmental Health Food Hygiene Officers have a permanent office in Ilfracombe. Residents can pay for parking permits at the Centre, however permits will continue to be issued from Barnstaple Civic Centre Reception.
