Cemeteries - directions

The Marlborough Road cemetery can be found at the top of Marlborough Road, just a 4-minute drive from Ilfracombe town centre. John Fowlers Holiday camp is located next door and a Tesco supermarket approximately a quarter of a mile up the road.

Local bus number 30 has two bus stops near the cemetery. The first bus stop is on the opposite side of the road by the school - just 50 yards from the cemetery. The second bus stop is based at the Worth Road and Marlborough Road junction - 150 yards from the cemetery.

Access and parking

The cemetery is open all year round via two pedestrian entrances and via the main entrance gates.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm
Friday between 8.00 am and 3.30 pm
(Excluding bank & public holidays).

Unfortunately there is limited parking outside the main gates and this area must not be used whilst coned off when a funeral is taking place. There is however roadside parking available.

For older people or those with mobility difficulties, vehicular access into the cemetery will be permitted by prior arrangement.
