Community Councillor Grants
The North Devon Council’s grants scheme aims to offer support to organisations and projects that are of direct benefit to the people, the environment and the community of the North Devon District.
Grants may be awarded to projects or services which benefit a smaller area or a specific community. Each District Councillor had £1500 in 2007/08, £2000 in 2008/09, £1500 in 2009/10 and £1000 in 2010/11 for projects within their electoral ward.

- Rackenford & Creacombe Parish Council - £1500 towards a new play surface.
- Church Rooms, Witheridge - £400 towards the cost of new tables and chairs.
- South Molton TIC - £210 towards events and annual running costs

Budget for 2008/09 = £3400.00
Awarded the following:
- Rose Ash parish Council - £1000.00 towards the cost of tree surgery in the village green
