Grants and funding

Community councilor grants

Community councillor grants are available to support community groups, voluntary organisations and projects that benefit the community.

The projects or services must be located within North Devon, or be of significant benefit to the people, the environment and the community of the North Devon district.

Town and parish fund

The Town and Parish, or TAP Fund has been set up by Devon County Council and North Devon Council to be used by towns and parishes working in partnership to respond to issues of shared interest and concern. The NDC Town and Parish (or TAP) Fund equates to £1.10 per elector in the district and was worth £83,600 in the financial year 2013/2014. The fund is intended to be a catalyst, to stimulate ideas and encourage parishes to work together.

The fund is currently closed to applications, and will re-open shortly. Contact the Grants Officer for more information and to request an application form email: grants@northdevon.gov.uk.
