How to find Barnstaple Pannier Market

From the M5 (junction 27) follow the A361 to Barnstaple (about 30 miles). At the Portmore roundabout bear right on to A39. Straight across to the next roundabout. There is a McDonalds on the left but keep going straight on. Move into the right hand lane. Turn right after the plumb centre. Follow the road for approximately 1/2 a mile. Move into the lefthand lane and go straight across the next roundabout, you will notice the T.A. on the right. Moving into the right hand lane turn right at the next roundabout. The Bus station will be on your lefthand side (Turn right for long stay car park). Follow the road until the next V junction, bear left into Boutport Street. (or bear right to car park) Take the first right into the High Street following the oneway system you will see the Pannier Market on the left. Please note that parking outside the market is restricted for disabled use only. Drivers of all cars are asked to keep clear of the loading area from 6.30 am to 8.30 am and 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm daily.
