Dixerit Plus
Listening to our website
You can listen to pages on our website using Dixerit Plus. Click the Dixerit Plus icon displayed on any page and the Dixerit Plus toolbar will be displayed. There are several ways to listen to a page:
- highlight the text you want to listen to and click the 'Read Text' icon
- hover your mouse pointer over the paragraph you want listen to and click the paragraph icon that appears
- click the 'Read Links' icon to have all the links on the page read to you
- to follow a link just enter its number into the 'Go to' box and click 'Go'
You can listen to PDF files and secure services using WebRead. Click the WebRead icon displayed on these pages and run the software when prompted.
The WebRead controls will appear at the top of your screen. Click the 'Play' button to hear the whole page or document, or highlight the text you want to be read to you, or click on the point where you want reading to start.

Making our website easier to read with Magnifier
Our Magnifier tool allows you to magnify your screen display up to 32 times its normal size, and is the ideal aid if you have difficulty reading small text. To launch Magnifier, click the icon on any page and the Dixero toolbar will be displayed. Click the Magnifier icon, run the software and select the magnification level that you find most comfortable.

Making our website easier to read with Contrast
Our Contrast tool allows you to apply a tint to your screen. This can be of any colour and brightness. If you find it difficult to read on-screen text because of excessive glare, or because of poor colour contrast, this tool will help make reading more comfortable. To launch Contrast click the icon on any page and the Dixero toolbar will be displayed. Click the Contrast icon, run the software and select the colour and intensity level that you find most comfortable.
