196 requests for information were received 1 July and 30 September 2016.  Of those requests:

 

  • 182 were answered within the 20 working day statutory time limit of 20 working days
  • 111 were granted in full (no exemption or exception was applied)
  • 9 required clarification/further information from the applicants, of which no response was received, therefore the request was closed and no further action taken
  • requests were submitted and then later withdrawn by the applicants
  • 38 requests were received, and then upon further research, transferred/referred (some in part) to other local authorities/external organisations
  • requests were the applicant agreed to a permitted extension of the statutory deadline date
  • 31 requests were partially withheld/refused (some of the information was subject to an exemption or exception)
  • 21 requests were fully withheld/refused (all of the information was subject to an exemption or exception)
  • 70 were responded to in full or part in accordance with the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR)

 

During this quarter, the average number of days that it took to respond to a request was 12 working days
