1 July to 30 September 2012

122 requests for information under the Act were received between 1 July and 30 September 2012, of those requests:

  • 64 were granted in full
  • 108 were answered within the 20 working day statutory time limit
  • 16 required clarification/further information from the applicants, 7 of which, no responses were received, therefore those requests were closed and no further action taken
  • 6 were received and then, upon further research, transferred/referred (some in part) to another local authority or external organisation
  • 1 was referred to the Council's Data Protection Officer to be processed as a Subject Access Request, in accordance with the Data Protection Act
  • 3 were withdrawn
  • 1 was granted a permitted extension on the statutory response time limit
  • 2 were responded late by one day
  • 26 were partially refused/withheld
  • 4 were fully refused/withheld
  • 28 were either responded to in full or in part n accordance with the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR)
