166 requests for information were received between 1 January and 31 March 2016, of those requests:

  • 163 were answered within the 20 working day statutory time limit
  • 106 were granted in full (not exemption or exception was applied)
  • 9 required clarification/further information from the applicants, of which no response was received, therefore those requests were closed and no further action was taken
  • request was received and upon further research, transferred to the Council's Data Protection Officer to process as a Subject Access Request
  • 18 requests were received, and then, upon further research, transferred/referred (some in part) to other local authorities/external organisation(s)
  • 19 were partially withheld/refused
  • 26 were fully withheld/refused
  • 47 were responded to in full or part in accordance with the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR)


During this quarter, the average number of days that it took to respond to a request was 12.5 working days
