124 requests for information were received between 1 April and 30 June 2012, of those requests:

  • 77 were granted in full
  • 117 were answered within the 20 working day statutory time limit
  • 14 required clarification/further information from the applicants, 5 of which, no responses were received, therefore those requests were closed and no further action taken
  • 6 requests were received and then, upon further research, transferred/referred (some in part) to another local authority or external organisation
  • 1 was referred to the Council's Data Protection Officer to process as a Subject Access Request, in accordance with the Data Protection Act
  • 2 were granted a permitted extension on the statutory response time limit
  • 23 were partially refused/withheld
  • 9 were fully refused/withheld
  • 21 were responded to either in full or in part in accordance with the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR)
