2. The details of each Councillors late payment: when the payment was due, when it was paid (or if still outstanding), whether they received reminder letters/court summons

3.How much Council Tax the Council wrote off in the last year because it could not be collected

Applicant provided with the following in response:

1. During 7 June 2016 to 7 June 2017 one Councillor made a late Council Tax payment; however the name of the Councillor was not released and withheld as considered personal information.  The Councillor only received one reminder and made the payment within a few days of its receipt.  No summons was therefore issued to the Councillor.  The fault on the part of the Councillor must reach a level of seriousness such as to result in a summons to court for a legitimate public interest to arise.  In terms of fairness, a Councillor may reasonably expect their name would not be revealed on the issue of the reminder for late payment albeit that they could not reasonably expect for it to be withheld once a summons has been issued.

2. An instalment of £42 was due 1 July 2016.  Reminder notice issued 21 July 2016 and payment of £42 made 25 July 2016.
